Based on the Municipal Sanitation Plan and according to the provisions of Federal Law No. 11,445 of 2007 and Municipal Sanitation Plan, it is necessary to implement an integrated sanitation system and urban infrastructure in various areas of city.

The lack of basic sanitation, especially the sanitary sewage, besides the impacts on the public health, causes pollution of the waterbodies, as well as degradation of the already unhealthy areas. AP5 has already been under concession to the private sector since 2012, raising the coverage percentage of the Sepetiba Basin, currently around 30\\%.

Currently there is a main collection system, without interconnection with "fine" collection network and sewage connections. It will increase the effectivity of the connections to the Sanitary Sewage System.

5. IDENTIFICATION OF OPPORTUNITIES AND THREATS 机会和威胁
