Tabriz Wire and Cable Manufacturing Company was established in 1353, 15 km from Tabriz-Tehran road, in a land with an area of more than 54000 square meters. Subsequently, in 1979, the installation and commissioning of machinery was started. At the beginning of its operation, its products consisted of insulated wires, copper conductors and light cables.

In 1365, the PVC Granulator Company was set up. This unit produces various types of granules used for insulating and coating wire and ground cables. The characteristics of the granules are flexible, cold resistant, lining or filler and masterbatch in different colors. The product line consists of turbomixers, storage tanks, PK devices and cooling units. The device manufactured by Werner Frieder V.P Germany has a production capacity of 500 kg per hour.

 Today, the salon not only meets the needs of the wire and cable production plant of Simakat factories, but also provides the needs of some other industries and factories of the country in this regard.

In 1996, Simcat Company witnessed the launch of an aluminum wire mill with an annual capacity of 12,000 tons. This unit has been used by the best European machinery and with constant efforts of experts of the company. The ability to produce all kinds of aluminum wire, especially in diameter 9, 9 and 12 mm, with various grades and required by different industries, especially the power industry and Steel industry. The production capacity of the aluminum production unit in 2007 was increased by installing and commissioning a new melting furnace and a new holder of 6,000 tons per year.

 The capacity of this unit is such that in addition to meeting the domestic needs of the company, it can meet the needs of other industries. These include Mobarakeh Steel Complex, Khuzestan Steel Complex, and various wire and cable manufacturing plants of the country.

The other units of the company are the factory for the production of wire, pipe and copper belt, which was launched in 2000. The machines of this unit are supplied by Rautomeed UK and are capable of producing copper wires of 8, 20 and 30 mm, copper tubes and bands. The annual production capacity of this unit is 7400 tons of copper wire, tube and brass wire.
