Taste’L Fine Food Pvt. Ltd. was founded in October 2003 by Mr. A.K. Talwar, who now serves as the Managing Director of the company.In his early years Ajay worked as a chef with the Taj Group of hotels and after spending a decade in the hospitality industry he worked in international sales and product management for a large foods company where he developed over 150 products.After 20 years of experience in the food industry, Ajay set out on his entrepreneurial venture in the world of processed foods and founded Tastel Fine Food Pvt Ltd. And so began the first product and the first brand in 2003.Ajay set high quality standards from the very start and sought to offer competitive prices using highly efficient processes. This has continued to be the hallmark of the company’s success.The company was started with modest means but with hard work and hundreds of happy clients we have grown to larger offices, multiple product lines, larger factories and have opened up our operations to several overseas markets.Today, our products are already exported to Australia, Canada, USA, Europe and the Middle East. With some Asian and UK markets all set to join the league.Timeline of Events:
2003:Tastel fine food starts in a 200 sq. ft office with a staff consisting of two employees. Sourcing and manufacturing supported by QA team in initial business development.
2006:First investment into a Frozen Products manufacturing plant at Nasik, Maharashtra
2007:A fresh start as the first manufacturing unit ships out Ambient Products orders.
2008:Significant investment in a new manufacturing plant for Ambient products at Karad, Maharashtra, with a view to shift manufacturing operations entirely to the new facility. Further investment for a new Frozen products manufacturing facility.
2009:Tastel Fine food and Honeytop Foods UK reach a joint venture agreement for Naan and Tortilla manufacturing in India.
2010:Inauguration of the New frozen product manufacturing plant in Karad, Maharashtra. Administrative Operations moved into a larger office in Goregaon West, Mumbai
2012:Tastel fine food establishes itself on a global scale; our products are exported to USA, Canada, Middle- East, Australia, and some parts of Europe. Taste’l fine food now runs two fully owned – ambient and frozen manufacturing facilities.
2013:Further investment in the existing sites with a view to fully automate the manufacturing facilities.
