Fugu Taida Coalification Co., Ltd. (Taida) is a circular-economy type of private enterprise established in December 2007. Located in Miaogoumen Industry Cluster Area, Fugu County, Yulin, northern Shaanxi – the center of China’s energy and heavy chemical industry base with a registered capital of RMB 100 million, Taida mainly produces and sells eight categories of products including semi-coke and electricity through building six recycling production lines. The six production lines headed by 600,000 tons/year semi-coke production lines also contain coal washing lines (1.2 million tons/year), exhaust power plant production lines (2×25MW), ferrosilicon furnace production lines (2×25000KVA), reduction tank production lines (10,000 reduction tanks/year), and magnesium metal production lines (20,000 tons/year). And the eight categories of main products are clean coal, semi-coke, crude gas, coal tar, electricity, ferrosilicon, reduction cans and metal magnesium. Taida has invested RMB 600 million in total and had been built and gradually put into operation by 2011. Currently, we have 1,200 people working for us and can realize an annual output value of RMB 700 million.

In term of operation mode, Taida mainly relies on the rich local coal resources, screens and washes the purchased raw coal and then produces clean coal and recycles coal gangue and coal slime; the clean coal produced is used for semi-coke production and crude gas and coal tar are recycled; part recycled crude gas and all the coal gangue and coal slime are used for power generation; electricity and the produced high-quality semi-coke are used for the production of ferrosilicon, which together with another part of recycled crude gas are used to produce magnesium metal; and the reduction tanks are used as reducers for the production of magnesium metal. With this mode, products of all production lines are interrelated, and the entire industry integrates chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, casting and non-ferrous metal into a whole, forming a chain-style comprehensive resource utilization-oriented, environmentally friendly and energy-saving industry model.
