We, Nani Agro Foods, are one of the fastest-growing spice traders in India. Founded in 1968 as a small per-cleaning warehouse by Shri Hari Poddar, with the processing and trading of turmeric, our company has now emerged as one of the leading manufacturers of spices in India. For over decades now, we have been producing rich varieties of spices, such as turmeric, black pepper, chilli powder and ground ginger. Each of these spices is cleaned, sun-dried and finely ground before it is neatly packed and labeled using well-equipped, state-of-the-art machines in our manufacturing unit, which is located in Erode, Tamil Nadu.
Our story began when our founder, Shri Hari Poddar, started a small unit in 1968 to process raw turmeric procured from the fields, and sold the finely ground turmeric in the local markets. Slowly, he expanded his business by building an integrated manufacturing unit, comprising high-end machines, to process a range of spices that make the key ingredients for cuisines that are prepared everyday in almost all the households around the world today. In due course, he steered his company towards making packages and labels for various products, making it one of the largest retail private labelling houses for ground spices, catering to 25 brands in India and across the globe.
Today, we pride ourselves in being one of the largest turmeric processors in India as well as one of the leading manufacturers of spices that are cultivated in our country.
